Location: Bad Homburg / Frankfurt, Germany

For our headquarter offices of Fresenius Kabi in the centre of Germany, we are looking for an additional member in the Global Medical Scientific Affairs team. The successful candidate will report to the Head of Medical Scientific Affairs Enteral Nutrition and will cover scientific tasks related to the product development and marketing of various products in Enteral Nutrition.

The following key competencies are required:

• Profound scientific knowledge and expertise in enteral nutrition (EN)
• Experience with critical appraisal of publications to identify relevant developments in the field of EN and possibilities for product application
• Extended writing skills to produce scientific product rationales on the nutrient profile; ability to extract key messages to facilitate adequate product positioning and marketing activities
• Practical experience with patients on the application of enteral nutrition (sip and tube feeding) in hospital and/or nursing homes, preferably also as member of a nutrition team
• Ideally experience with clinical study programmes to support the study design, interpretation of results and follow up on subsequent publications
• Confidence in training healthcare professionals as well as non experts on EN related areas; ability to translate complex topics to facilitate understanding and raise interest in use of EN
• Communication skills to explore external cooperation and drive KOL management

Candidates need a Masters Degree or equivalent in Dietetics, Nutrition or related area. We will expect you to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be outgoing, self motivated, persuasive and resilient, with the desire and ability to operate in a commercial environment. You can expect to work in an exciting area together with a highly motivated team.

Your work will involve some travelling to scientific congresses and meetings. Fresenius Kabi will ensure ongoing support for personal development.
